I have worked in the hospitality and tourism industry throughout my career and have a Masters in Tourism Management where I developed a keen interest in sustainable tourism. Following 4 years working for the South Australian Tourism Commission in online marketing, management and project management roles, I undertook, what was to become life-changing, training via the Climate Leadership Corps, lead by Al Gore, former Vice President of the United States.

After completing this training I moved to Siem Reap, Cambodia in late 2014, where I worked initially with the NGO sector on responsible tourism practices. It was during that time Plastic Free Cambodia was formed. Specialising in consulting to businesses and delivering educational workshops on the topic of plastic reduction and other environmental issues.

I’m now looking at a bigger picture having already consulted to other countries around Southeast Asia and wishing to continue that, a new look for PFC will be coming soon.

In addition to Southeast Asia, I am yearning to make an impact in my home country of Australia and plan to be over to Sydney again around October 2019 – making it a complete 5 years since moving to Cambodia.

I have had incredible experiences and a continually growing knowledge of climate change and plastic pollution issues in the region, I aim to inspire more people to take action.
